Teen Health Arkansas (THAR) programs bring a teen-centered approach to education and engagement, building an evidence-based foundation for a lifetime of health opportunities and choices. Working with teens, the adults who care for them, and the decision-makers and leaders who influence them, THAR programs prepare communities to support teen health, making it possible for healthy teens to contribute to the health and prosperity of their communities.

The Mobilizing Youth Summit (MYSummit) is an annual convening with young people from across the Southern United States that strengthens youth engagement in policy, leadership, advocacy, and organizing.

THAR’s Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge, or is in crisis.

THAR’s youth-centered, trauma-informed workforce development series supports participants to build the practical skills needed to get a job and keep it by connecting workforce readiness to everyday life.
